Studying Nursing

I want to train as a nurse, but I work three days a week and I have a child. could I study at home if I took an online course? Libbi Thomas,Oklahoma City

Hi Libbi

Yes you could study at home, but as nursing is a very practical career, there are parts of the course that you will have to do in a hospital or a clinic. Some of this depends on the course that you take - for instance, you could take a one year course to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LCP), ans two year course to become a Registered Nurse (RN) or you could take a Bachelor's degree in Nursing - usually around a four year course. Why don't you take a look online to see what the courses are about, and get back to me?
