Singapore Airport

I'm taking a trip away from home for some months - in fact it may be permanent, and I could end up living and working in New Zealand. However, for the time being, I'm just spending time here doing some work and looking around.

I really didn't want to stop my studies, particularly in Turkish, as I just am beginning to feel that I'm starting to get somewhere. So I packed my laptop, making sure that all my work files were on the machine, and I'm travelling complete with online study package. Last week I was to be seen in Singapore airport making the most unusual noises, as I tried to correct my terrible pronunciation of Turkish. The airport has a wi-fi that you can connect to for free, and as I had just bought myself a wireless connection, this was the first time I had used it in anger - and it worked first time! I was so impressed that I started to revise some of my Turkish online course modules and was nearly late for my flight.

So if you happen to be travelling around South East Asia for any reason, steer clear of the airports with wi-fi. You really don't want to be embarrassed by my terrible pronunciation of Turkish.
